Then I found another post, saying their solution was to change the view to grid mode in the Profiler software and delete all the Mode X + Clutch. A main issue is the pinkie switch as it seems to stop working for some reason. sometimes it worked? Then I noticed some weird things like if I minimized the X52 Profiler it would stop working, and I'd have to make it the active window again, unplug, then plug in the HOTAS again and it would work. So now the screen lights up, the mini stick controls the mouse (pretty neat!) and I head back to Elite to test it out. I thought I should see if Logitech has some drivers for it, but the drivers on the website are apparently all 32 bit and will not let me install them. I thought it was a little weird that I couldn't map anything to the mini stick and that the precision slider seemed to only operate either at the bottom or top end, and that the throttle display didn't light up, but the basic functions were working as they should have and I was fine overlooking those things in the beginning. When I first got it, I plugged it in and let Windows assign the drivers, and everything worked fine. I just got the X52 a few days ago (my first HOTAS!) and it's so fun to fly with! Problem is, I keep having issues with the software.
